Warren Evans is a London based designer who strives to make excellent sustainable furniture while maintaining an environmental mind set. He utilizes “fair trade” to employ skilled craftspeople that hand makes every piece of sustainable furniture, and use materials produced from responsible managed sources. My favorite is the Brazil Bed with unique features, style, and traditional craftsmanship, this bed really stands out.

Brave Space Design is Brooklyn based sustainable furniture company that uses sustainable materials that are both durable and attractive. They offer shelving units, chairs, and beautiful tables made from sustainable materials. The Hollow Dining Set incorporates a unique hollow storage space in the table and chairs. This set of sustainable furniture includes six chairs that are ergonomically crafted for maximum comfort, both table and chairs are coated with organic herbal oil and non-toxic finish.

Danko is a sustainable furniture company that utilizes Ply-bent sustainable material, which is held together with non-toxic adhesives. A tree can produced almost ten times the amount of material for Ply-bent, which utilizes veneer, when compared to solid timber. Danko offers different tables and chairs for different tastes, with customizable shapes and sizes. All of which promote sustainable forestry and the use of less materials to create more sustainable furniture than traditional techniques.

Urban Woods Furniture is a Colorado based company. Among many sustainable green furniture they offer, their bedroom sets are superb. Made strictly from sustainable produced materials, there are many different styles. My favorite is the Park view collection, made from sustainable Ash. They sell their beds, dressers, and nightstands finished or ready-to-finish if you wish to customize your sustainable furniture with environmentally friendly stains or paints.

Furnature is a company producing organic sustainable furniture. The fabrics they use are naturally derived, no harmful chemicals or pigments added. Their beds are durably designed items of sustainable furniture. They use sustainability harvested North American hard ash in construction for years of use.
